The Festival Du Voyageur team were thinking of changing it up creatively for their 2020 theme. After having initial discussions and creative meetings it was clear that they were keen on capturing the artistic elements of today's Canadian Indigenous Culture and Art.
They approached it with respect and integrity. Every step of the process was explained and the focus on the theme of Inclusion was a key element of the design. For many years in the past Fort Gibraltar was a main trading space where many cultures would work together and gather. It was very important to have the unity of the people in the logo.
