Trapline Apparel - Logo, Identity.
The story for this indigenous owned brand was to create a clothing line inspired by and for indigenous peoples in the trades. Being a welder herself, the owner/client wanted to make this brand in memory of all those indigenous peoples who have and are still working in the trades.
The logo needed to be strong and bold with the culture as the foundation. For this, the Buffalo skull was a  chosen to represent strength and respect for the people. It's adorned with the sacred medicine of Sage and two eagle feathers. The sage represents growth, with the eagle feathers representing balance. The details within the skull feature the land, air and water.
A bold and clear font choice was made which added a touch of rugged.
