Fort Whyte AliveWinnipeg, MB, 2019.
Fort Whyte Alive reached out about having one of their Tipi's painted. I had creative freedom to do what I wished so I chose the Seven Sacred Teachings as a theme. I wanted the visitors to feel and welcomed safe while in the Tipi. I usually have Tipi's in my paintings. They are a symbol of foundation and stability for me.
The Rainbow at the top represents all people and the Teachings have a character of each animal or being painted with tobacco leaves and spiritual orbs flowing and falling. Other elements of nature were considered.
